What Speedy Invoice does with your data

Speedy Invoice runs entirely in your browser. When you type in your company details, your client's information, or your line items, none of it gets sent anywhere. There's no server on the other end receiving or storing it. Your invoice and the PDF you download are both put together right there on your own device.

Local storage (autosave)

So you don't have to retype everything each time, Speedy Invoice saves your invoice details, company info, client info, line items, logo, and color choice, in your browser's local storage. That's storage tied to your device and browser only. It's never sent anywhere, it stays put on the device and browser you used, and it disappears if you clear your browser's site data or switch to a different browser or device.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, just to get a general sense of how many people visit and which pages they look at. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store anything that identifies you, and doesn't follow you around to other sites. All it gives us is aggregate numbers: page views, where visitors came from, and roughly what kind of device they're on. None of that connects to anything you actually typed into your invoice, since that never leaves your browser in the first place.

The same tool also counts how many times people click "Download as PDF" or "Print." Just totals, nothing tied to a person or an invoice.

Cookies

Speedy Invoice doesn't use cookies. Umami doesn't either.

Children's privacy

Speedy Invoice is built for business use, not for kids, and we don't knowingly collect anything from children.

Your rights

Since your invoice data never leaves your device, there's no copy sitting on a server for us to hand over or delete on your behalf. Clearing your browser's local storage gets rid of it completely, on your end, whenever you want.

Changes to this policy

If the way Speedy Invoice handles data ever changes, say we add accounts or server-side storage down the line, we'll update this page to reflect it.
